JeForce Journal 2014:09

We have arrived at the next instalment of JeForce Journal series! Business as usual, we will take a look at the latest additions, changes, and enhancements done to transform the executive workspace into a much more interesting and enjoyable location to get serious work done as well as bringing the fight to the monsters of gloom. ^^;

The Snacking Corner

From McVitie's Digestive Biscuits to Oreo Cookies, my latest snack treat is the Seaweed Flavored Potato Chips by Calbee.

When the hunger pangs start signaling you for a fix, it is important to listen to what your body tells you rather than to brush it off as just another craving to make you get fat. Being nice to yourself leads to a happier life. However, do remember to include a session or two of physical workout in your weekly schedule to burn off those additional calories.

The Executive Workstation

Photo: Notebook Computer, Anime Themed Mousepad, and Character Figures

This trusty notebook computer has been working alongside with me for over 2 years now and it is still serving me well. ^^;
In case you are wondering, this be a Lenovo IdeaPad Z470 running on Microsoft Windows 7.

This Fate/Stay Night Tohsaka Rin x Archer mousepad has been serving me well for almost a year since I purchased it during Anime Festival Asia (Singapore) 2013. The southern part of the mousepad has been damaged due to wear and tear. I shall include an Anime Themed Mousepad in my wishlist and get it during this year's Anime Festival. ^^;

Sitting atop the Anime Themed Mousepad is the mighty Razer Abyssus Gaming Mouse which has served me well since .. uhh .. dang my memories are kind of fuzzy but it should be around 6 months or so.

This Creative Fatal1ty Gaming Headset has been serving me well for over a year now, providing amazing audio experiences, and is starting to show signs of breaking down (maybe because I accidentally dropped it at least once a month). ^^;

Getting replacements for the mousepad, gaming mouse, and gaming headset once every calendar year will no doubt burn quite a number of holes in my wallet. Aww~ poor wallet-kun .. better days ahead in the coming future!

The Figure Shrine

Photo: Character Figures at the Executive Workspace

My figure shrine has been growing and changing rather rapidly quarter on quarter as Good Smile Company just happened to release many character figures that tickled my fancies. ^^;

Joining the team is Nendoroid Kongo (left) while figma Emiya Kiritsugu went off to adopt a sniping position with his sniper rifle, waiting to snipe the head of the next servant's master.

The Culture Japan Shrine

There have not been much additions, changes, or enhancements to this zone of the Executive Workspace aside from the internal contents of the deck cases (left). The learning cards are being stored in their respective packagings while the deck cases are being used to store some mysterious stuffs. ^^;

Wondering what kind of mysterious stuffs are being stored in these deck cases?
The mystery shall be solved in the next instalment of the JeForce Journal series!

The J-Culture Wall

Photo: Anime Themed Posters

Off goes the Sword Art Online and Shingeki no Kyojin posters and in comes the EOY Cosplay Festival 2014 and Date A Live posters! The J-Culture Wall is one of the fastest changing zones in my Executive Workspace as posters are much more affordable and available.

Folks who are just starting out with the transformation of their workspace into a much more interesting and enjoyable experience filled with Anime Themed merchandises can begin with posters. ^^;

At the end of a busy quarter ..

There have been quite a number of character figures being released and shipped out during this season and this period has proved to be a challenge for me. Life has been very busy recently while juggling between a full-time day job, Operationally Ready National Service obligations, and Personal Development to make life much more interesting and happier to live.

I want to continue writing and publishing feature articles for my valued followers' to enjoy while making ends meet. figma Archer has arrived at my base for quite some time now and I look forward to release him from the astral prison soon. ^^;
